What will I need to open a checking or savings account?
We will need the following information before we can open an account:
- Photo ID
- Social security number
- Street address
- Mailing address (if different than street address)
- Date of birth
- Daytime and evening phone number

I am going out of the United States, is there anything I need to do with my accounts before I leave?
Yes! We encourage you to notify us. First of all, our Falcon Alert Service (fraud protection) could block your transactions if they felt there was usual activity on your account. Second, there are daily limits on your debit card. If needed, we can raise your limit for a period of time per your request.
It's also a good idea to notify your credit card companies if you plan on using your credit card while abroad.
What is my current account balance?
Access your account balance online at firstbankhampton.com. With online banking, you can view your checking, savings, loans and personal credit line balances. There is no charge for this service.
Access your account balance with our 24 Hour Telebanking at 1-888-999-0236. You can access your accounts any time via our convenient telephone banking. You can check your balance, transfer funds, see if a check has cleared or verify the amount of your last deposit .
How can I request a stop payment?
To request a stop payment by phone, please call our Bookkeeping Department at the First Bank Hampton during our regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) You will need to come into the bank to sign the official stop payment request.

How can I order a copy of a check or deposit?
To order a copy of a check or deposit, come into the bank and our bookkeeping department will be glad to assist you. A fee may be incurred for this service.
How can I get a copy of my statement?
If you are enrolled in online banking, log in to your account, go to the transaction tab, and click on previous or current statement.
If you are signed up for E-statements, you can view or print any month's statement at anytime. With E-statements, your monthly statements will be archived* so you can review or download them on to your computer or reprint them.
You may also request a copy of a statement by contacting our bookkeeping department. A fee may be incurred for the service.
*Archiving begins at enrollment time and will archive statements for 12 months.
How can I request a replacement for an existing Debit Card or ATM Card?
Request a replacement Check Card or ATM Card by calling us at 641-456-4793 or by stopping by the bank. A fee may apply.
How much does First Bank Hampton’s Online banking cost?
First Bank Hampton's online banking is Free for all accounts. You can access your current account balances, and make transfers or loan payments at no charge.
How should I send sensitive information to the Bank?
Since email is not a secure method of communication, please do not send any sensitive information (e.g. Social Security or account numbers) via email. If your request requires you to share sensitive information, you should either call First Bank Hampton, or bring it in to the bank personally.
I still haven't received my coupon book for my loan, where do I send my first payment?
If you have a payment that is due, please drop off your payment at the bank or mail it to the following address:

When you receive your coupon book, you may then begin including the coupon with your payment. It can take up to 14 days to receive your coupon book after you sign your loan documents.
