About Team FBH

First Bank Hampton has been a sponsor of Relay for Life for many years. Two years ago, some of the employees got together and formed our Team FBH. This team kicked off their first year with the theme, "Banking on a Cure". They planned several fundraisers and to their amazement and delight, were able to raise over $2,700!

The second year, the team planned and hosted even more events raising close to $5,000 with 100% of the money going to Relay for Life! Raising more than they ever dreamed possible, the team is already busy planning some new events which have already started!

Snowman Pallet Painting Event. This make-and-take event was held on December 6 at the Rustic Brew. Thanks to everyone who came out and made this event a huge success!

Spa Day. This event was held at the Country Heritage Bed & Breakfast on January 29 where guests were pampered with facials, foot soaks, massages and much more! They also enjoyed shopping and wine tasting
with this event. A great day of relaxation was enjoyed by all!

Murder Mystery Evening. With the talent of so many people, the characters of this murder mystery were brought to life with fabulous acting to make this event a hilarious and memorable evening of "who did it?" 
Hats off to the actors as well as the audience for making this event a great success! 

Spring Pallet Painting. All the tables at Rustic Brew were lined with pallets as thirty-five ladies painted colorful Easter eggs on their pallet! Colorful ribbon bows were added giving each pallet its final personalized touch. 

2nd Annual Comedy Night. Terry Carr was this year's Master of Ceremonies along with many new acts as well some repeat entertainers and comics. This event raised $1,144.00 bringing our total to date to over $7,200! 
May 5: Back by popular demand, our Walking Tacos Event was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed the beautiful weather and a walking taco!
June 16: Three full tables of all types of baked goods soon disappeared as people stopped in and supported the 3rd Annual Employee Bake Sale. At the end of the day $1005.40 was raised!
Tuesday, June 27. Can Redemption Donation was greatly received! The trailer was filled to the roof! Thanks to all the people who donated cans and bottles. 

As of June, this year's total raised so far is $9,541.45! Way to go team!
